How important are meta keywords for your blog or website? Not that important..says Google. Many SEO experts have known this for quite some time. Google is just now confirming it.

According to Google’s blog on the use of meta tag keywords…

At least for Google’s web search results currently (September 2009), the answer is no. Google doesn’t use the “keywords” meta tag in our web search ranking. This video explains more, or see the questions below.
